We Build What We Draw

Lumea is a licensed builder, not only a design studio — Building Work Contractor Licence BLD 299999, held by DALU Pty Ltd trading as Lumea Building Co. If you want it, the same team that designs your home can construct it — new homes, extensions and renovations, under one contract.

That removes the gap most projects fall into. Nobody hands your drawings to a builder who reads them differently, prices the unknowns as risk, then charges a variation when the detail was never resolved. The people who drew it are the people who have to build it, which is a strong incentive to draw it properly.

What That Changes for You

• One contract, one point of contact. No refereeing between the designer and the builder when something on site does not match the plan.
• Real costs during design, not after it. We price as we draw, so the budget conversation happens while changes are still cheap.
• No handover gap. Approval and construction run into each other instead of stalling while you tender.

You Can Still Take the Plans Elsewhere

Plenty of clients come to us for design only, and that is a perfectly good way to work. We will document the project to a standard any builder can price, and if you want help choosing one, our construction specification and tender service runs the tender so you are comparing like-for-like quotes.

If you would rather keep your own builder and just want us watching the build, that is the design and construction partner service.

We will tell you honestly which of the three suits your project. We are not going to push you into a build contract you did not come here for.
